This is by far the best eye exam app Ive ever used, beating even some of the paid ones available on the App Store.
With this app it helped confirm that I have 20/40 uncorrected vision, 20/20 corrected vision, and normal color vision, along with no astigmatism both uncorrected and corrected.
Great app to supplement a routine eye exam, IMO. Its free, so get it!
As a student optician I showed this to my bosses and they were actually impressed as well as our Optometrist. They all approved and they did each test out and it was fairly acurate for what it was, though definitely NOT 100% and still dont recommend people to use this instead of having their eyes throroughly checked and scanned for major diseases every 2 years.
Great App though and being free is another bonus!
A good app and I rate it 4 cause its FREE! , but the countdown time in distance test is too short !! It would be really easy to use if it was adjustable .looking for future upgrades!!
I was thankful for the reviewer who said you can skip the sign in (and sign up) option and still use this app. Its helpful to have another person around to enter your answers for the distance test. Id like to see a reading component to the near vision test. The ads were not too intrusive for me. It would be interesting to have Siri integration and expand the vision test to include rows of letters.
This app does what it says it will do. The visual test is nice. Being able to know what insureance coverage I have is even better. Lots of doctor choices.
I had no problems using this app. I found an eye doctor for the whole family. We use it now once a month to check our eye health and schedule our appointments. I would highly recommend it.
Some bad moments
Was ok, then post update demands email registration in order to use. BS.
Useless app designed to push eye doctors. Not sure its actual intrinsic worth. I suppose they make money on referrals...? It shows zero eye doctors in Victoria BC. Im sure theres at least one...
Makes you register before you can do anything and I dont even know what it does or why it would need that.
As a previous review mentioned, the app forces you to register before doing anything else. I chose to do so, but the app loads its features very slowly. The only reason I dont dive it one star is that I dont have a way to know if the tests are accurate or not.
I couldnt figure out if i was doing the tests right. Very frustrating.
This has a bug. It wont let me log on and then cancles the app. Needs update!!!!!!
